An Algebraic Approach for Identification of Rotordynamic Parameters in Bearings with Linearized Force Coefficients

In this work, a novel methodology for the identification of stiffness and damping rotordynamic coefficients in rotor-bearing system is proposed. The mathematical model process based on algebraic technique applied to finite element (FE) with multiple degree-of-freedom (DOF). This considers effects rotational inertia, gyroscopic moments, shear deformations, external linear forces attributable parameters supports. proposed identifier only requires system’s vibration response as input data. performance evaluated analyzed both schemes, constant variable speed system, numerical results are obtained. presented results, it can be observed that accurately determines bearings less than 0.06 s. Moreover, procedure rapidly converges estimated values tested conditions, speed.
